America's Cup Trophy Day Part coming to Bay View Boat Club

AC Trophy Day Party
August 22nd, 2010 Bay View Boat Club

The Bay View Boat Club will host a party to celebrate the capture of America's Cup by the Golden Gate Yacht Club, and welcome yacht clubs coming to San Francisco Bay for the AC34 Regatta and Preliminaries.

We would appreciate one person from each club in the PICYA attending the party.

Hosts: BVBC, MHPYC, SBYC
Guests: Flag officers of any YC whose piers touch the Bay
Guest of Honor: Golden Gate Yacht Club
Special Guest: Marcello Curci - Deputy Consul General of Italy

On this day in 1851, the yacht America captured the £100 Cup from the Royal Yacht Squadron at Cowes.
