About Us
AlamedaWaterfront.com is a volunteer website that represents the efforts of Alameda's America's Cup Committee, a group of citizens and businesses trying to help our community realize some short term and perhaps long lasting benefit as we support San Francisco's hosting of the 34th America's Cup.
The website was created voluntarily by Superclean Web Services, an Alameda web design firm, with the help of several others. Special thanks goes out to Bob Naber (local multi-hull racing enthusiast and expert on all thing America's Cup) who spurred our City Government to get proactive following Oracle's victory in 2010 and shared much wisdom for this website.
Also... thanks to Richard Bangert who has contributed photography to the website. Check out his photo blog at AlamedaPointImages.wordpress.com
